Does Bear chatter when he sees the birds? My cats do too, they totally freak, crouch down to the floor & sneak to the door to watch the birds on the deck. Then they start chattering & making weird noises. Its so funny! Esp since they are indoor cats, probably would have no idea what to do with it if they caught it

We just saw the red-bellied Woodpecker on the tree outside. So pretty

Nah, streetlights & phone poles are just as good We have tons of seagulls in our local shopping center - no trees for acres. Plus migrating cliff swallows build nests right on the brick poles of the walkway when they come by once a year.

Lets see... the top pic is a bunch of noisy European Starlings, fun birds to watch! Next is a Dark Eyed Junco, otherwise known as a Snowbird, cute little guys. The one on the branch is a Blue Jay, another really noisy character & a blast to watch. The bottom bird looks like a Robin. We just got a bunch that flew in yesterday. Very stately in how they prance about the yard
Your all-red bird could be a male Northern Cardinal. The females & juvies are more brown with red accents & beak, like these guys:



The shiny black bird that looks like it changes color to blue or green when you look could be a Grackle. Sometimes looks like a small crow. Did it look like this:
