We will be dragging ourselves to church with my mom tomorrow. I say drag because we don't go like we should, but we will tomorrow for mom. She loves when
we show up with the kids for holiday's. And next to Christmas this is a big one for her.
And then it will be back to our house for more chocolate bunnies and peeps. And some Wii games that the Easter Bunny will be leaving in his tracks....

I don't go like I used to... I wouldn't go on Easter now, because I don't want to annoy the regulars... I was a regular once, so I know how it used
to annoy me...
Bachelorhood has taken its toll on regular church attendance... and I live literally in the shadow of the biggest church in town...

I havent been to church for any holiday since I was in grade school
We went to a farm here that had an Easter Egg hunt & my kids we like, 'can we go now?"  Yeah, they're into it about as much as I am 
They were more interested in buying hot donuts & drinks inside the place than hanging out with Mr Bunny & friends out in the field

It's a big celebration still back in Jamaica ... I'm a bit surprised it's so low-key here in the States. Not only does Jamaica get a 4-day weekend,
it's carnival time too - so LOTS of partying. It's still very controversial - the churches think it's sacriligious to have all the revelry at
Easter, but no one's listening too closely. /sigh

My stepmom is very into it, my dad is not. Im much more like my dad
Ty has a half day today, teacher meeting stuff again. Another half day on Monday then another day off on Friday! Ugh! I stiff have not had an entire week to myself this year.

Hope you all had a nice Easter! It was a great one here. The kids really enjoyed the baskets and hunting for eggs. I enjoyed it all when it was over
It's really starting to feel like Summer - I'm trying to cool off before I lay down. I just feel like I have to vomit if I lay down in the hot bed while I'm burning up!
